As a network of four strong regions, one of the main contributions of the Four Motors for Europe to European affairs is materialized by regularly addressing common positions on key EU policy initiatives, as well as other political declarations and positions signed by our presidents or line ministers.

As major industrial regions representing all together around 10% of European GDP, they could play a role as a "lighthouse" for industrial Europe.

A new Working Group about to collaborate in the green and digital transformation of the system
The event took place in Barcelona, at the Palau de la Generalitat, on December 3, 2021, with the in-person participation of the political delegations from Catalonia, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Lombardy, as well as an online connection from Baden-Württemberg during the official ceremony.
