Brussels, March 11, 2025 – The meeting of the Four Motors for Europe took place today in Brussels at the headquarters of the Lombardy Region delegation in Place du Champ De Mars. Representatives from Lombardy (Italy), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (France), Baden-Württemberg (Germany), and Catalonia (Spain) discussed policies related to sustainability and adaptation to climate change.
On November 6, 2024, the Four Motors for Europe hosted a networking event at the Catalunya Pavilion during the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) in Barcelona. The event aimed to strengthen collaboration among Baden-Württemberg, Catalonia, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Lombardy, while showcasing innovative solutions to urban challenges.
Artificial intelligence, new technologies and future-proof connections were the focus of the conference organised by the Four Motors for Europe, under the Presidency of the Lombardy Region, as part of the European Week of Regions and Cities.
On December 13, 2024, Lombardy Presidency brought together representatives from the Four Motors for Europe in Milan, to celebrate the 20 years anniversary of the regional suburban railway service and hold a round table for an exchange of views and best practices in the railway sector.
Lombardy invited the Four Motors for Europe to attend online a session of the Congress “Prospettiva Salute” 2025, where experts, professionals and stakeholders in the healthcare sector met to discuss the current most relevant healthcare issues.
On Thursday, October 31, 2024, the Coordinators of the Four Motors for Europe convened in Milan for an in-presence meeting. On the same day, a special working session was organized with the Lombardy representatives of the Working Groups and other relevant regional actors.
