How can companies advance their internationalisation efforts in one of the four economically strongest regions in Europe? The perfect points of contact for this mission are the business development agencies from each region, namely ACCIO, PROMOS, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Enterprises, and Baden-Württemberg International, who collaborate closely.
In Lyon, the “Four Motors @ Pollutec” event brought together over 40 participants with representatives from each region. At the community booth of Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Enterprises, who graciously extended the invitation, companies had a special chance to network and explore potential cooperation opportunities. As part of the networking event, the four agencies presented the regional ecosystems and their services for the internationalisation efforts of companies.
In a relaxed atmosphere, the event also underlined the innovation capability of the four regions by pitches presented by pioneering companies from each region: Mann+Hummel from Baden-Württemberg, LANCEY from Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, PICVISA from Catalonia, and Redcam from Lombardy. The enthusiasm of the companies to foster collaborations with businesses from other regions and embrace a European spirit was evident throughout the entire event. In this setting, amid French culinary delights, the participants were already able to generate first leads. The format has been proven as a successful opportunity to bring together companies from the four regions. Hence, the agencies are currently evaluating the possibility of organising a similar event at a trade show in 2024.
