The Four Motors for Europe at the Congress “Prospettiva Salute” 2025
The event took place on 24 and 25 October 2024 at the Bergamo Fair Congress Center. During the two days, participants had the opportunity to attend discussions, plenary sessions, and workshops, where speakers shared their best practices and new strategies to address the healthcare challenges of the future.
As part of Lombardy's presidency of the Four Motors for Europe network in 2024, experts and professionals from partner regions were invited to attend online a session of the Congress on 25 October: the simulation workshop titled “Assessment of Competencies of Health and Prevention Professionals”, organized in collaboration with ATS Bergamo, a local public health agency, and the regional Ministry for Welfare.
Specifically, the workshop assessed how simulation, configured as a training methodology, can allow for translating theoretical teachings into practice, promoting "learning by doing” and demonstrating which attitudes and behaviours are more effective, all in a safe and protected environment.
Baden-Württemberg was represented by Ms. Julia Moser, from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration and Dr. Karlin Stark, Head of Department of Health and Consumer Protection of the Ludwigsburg District Administration, while Catalunya’s attendants were Dr. Josep Pujante Conesa, Director of the Area of International Relations and Health Cooperation and Raquel Hurtado Portero, Policy Officer of the Area of International Relations and Health Cooperation, from the Ministry of Health. At this stage, Four Motors actors participated as auditors, to gather their feedback on the initiative and pave the way for an active presence at the 2025 edition.
The Congress was a special opportunity for the Four Motors for Europe network to consider cooperation in the field of healthcare and address how different perspectives on public health management can be represented and analyzed, particularly in terms of governance, purchasing policies, and innovation in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
The stage is now set for next year’s edition, which will take place from June 4 to 6 2025.
